Tailored artificial intelligence systems, from Turin. To see where a business is losing, why, and how much.

Itria builds tailored artificial intelligence systems for small and medium-sized businesses. It works from Turin, remotely, and the first step is a fifteen-minute video call.

In brief

What it does. It shows a business where it's losing time or revenue, why and how much, and then builds the system that wins it back. The Cruscotto is where you see it all together.

Where. From Turin, with businesses in Piedmont and across Italy. We work over video call and on the tools the business already has.

Why now. In Piedmont's industry, just under 28% of companies use artificial intelligence, against about 71% of large companies. The gap is about size, and SMEs are on the wrong side of it.

Piedmont and artificial intelligence, from the data

In Piedmont's industry, just under 28% of companies use artificial intelligence tools. That's the measurement in the Bank of Italy's L’economia del Piemonte, the report on 2025 published in June 2026: the share of industrial companies using predictive or generative tools rose in the region to just under 28 per cent, from 25 in 2024.

Among large companies the same share is around 71 per cent. The tool is the same for everyone; what differs is the people and the time to look after it, which a large company has and a small one often doesn't. It's a gap in access, and access can be built.

Turin: a supply chain in transition, flat revenues

In the province of Turin, the automotive supply chain accounts for 8.1% of value added, with a much lower share in the other provinces, according to the same report. It's a supply chain that has been changing for several years, through technological shifts and reorganised value chains, and it takes the suppliers working around it along with it.

For 2026, the Bank of Italy reports that companies in Piedmont expect revenues in industry and services to stagnate, after a 2025 in which regional output grew by 0.4%. With flat revenues, margins are defended on the costs nobody measures: time spent replying, copying data from one document to another, following up customers. How to count the first of these is explained in what answering enquiries by hand costs.

What Itria does for a business in Turin

It measures first, then builds one piece at a time. The starting point is set out in the Terms (in Italian): no work is proposed until we've looked at where the business is losing time or revenue today. The first look comes from the Diagnostico (in Italian), and it starts from what a customer sees when they search for you.

Then we pick the problem that weighs most, among the ones SMEs run into every day: hours spent doing repetitive work by hand, enquiries lost between channels and languages, customers who don't come back, money that arrives late. The list of pieces, problem by problem, is in Services.

Every system works on the tools the business already has, and the principle stays fixed, as written in Ethics: “The machine prepares, a person always decides.” The Cruscotto puts everything in one place, with the numbers that matter.

Remotely, from Turin

The work happens over video call and on the business's own tools. The first step is a fifteen-minute call; then we measure, then we write down the scope, with a fixed price agreed in advance. Everything else happens on the systems the business already uses, without replacing them.

Itria takes on only a few clients at a time, because every system is built by one person. For a business in Turin the distance is zero, and for one in Bari it's the same: the method doesn't change with the city.

How many businesses use artificial intelligence in Piedmont?

In Piedmont's industry, according to the Bank of Italy, the share of companies using predictive or generative artificial intelligence tools rose to just under 28% in 2025, from 25% in 2024.

Among large companies the same share is about 71%. The figure comes from the survey of industrial firms and appears in the report L’economia del Piemonte, published in June 2026.

Where do you start when bringing artificial intelligence into an SME?

By measuring where the business is losing time or revenue today, before choosing any tool. The problem that weighs most decides the first piece to build.

Then you build one piece at a time, on the tools the business already has, with a person approving before anything reaches a customer.

Does Itria only work with businesses in Turin?

It works from Turin with businesses all over Italy, because the work is remote and the method doesn't change with the city.

It started where the gap is widest and least served, and the method spreads out from there. It takes on only a few clients at a time, because every system is built by one person.

·The next step

A business in Turin, or anywhere else. The first step is the same: fifteen minutes.

We start from where the business is losing time or revenue today, and decide the rest after measuring, with a fixed price agreed in advance. Drop us a line about what's slowing you down. We'll make the first move: we'll look at what a customer sees when they search for you, and tell you what we found. Even if we never end up working together.
