The name, and who runs it.
Itria comes from the Valle d’Itria, in Apulia. The valley takes its name from the Byzantine Greek Hodegetria: an iconographic title that literally means she who shows the way.
The name has a purpose. When you work with us, you're dealing with someone who speaks the language of the local area as fluently as that of the markets the business competes in.
The person you talk to is the person who analyses the process, builds the system and looks after it once it's live.
An international education in Business & Management, grounded in measuring KPIs and risk indicators: management accounting, corporate finance, international markets. Particularly drawn to solutions that break extremely complex environments down into the right number of repeatable steps, and to the cases where those steps can be automated with the right rules around them.
Along those lines, I designed a two-engine architecture for the corporate banking challenge run by BNL BNP Paribas: an acquisition engine that finds and ranks target companies, and a signal-monitoring engine that picks up relevant events and generates tailored outreach, always with human approval. Results were quantified on real banking KPIs: conversion rate, proposals generated, return on capital.
I also pay close attention to the human side: managing visibility and creating demand. I spent years curating the content of an Instagram page that grew from zero to 50,000 followers and tens of millions of organic views, measuring every growth lever with the same rigour that went into Itria's foundations.
A static automation can be copied and replaced within a month; a system that truly understands how a business works can't. That understanding, a close knowledge of the real process rather than a generic formula, is what no large team can offer at a first meeting.
Every project ends with the client owning what's been built, not with a permanent dependence on a supplier. A clear scope, and a working system within thirty days of signing.
For anyone who has met us and wants to know exactly who they're dealing with.
Itria is an Italian company providing digital infrastructure and process automation for small and medium-sized businesses, based in Crispiano, in the province of Taranto. It is run personally by Mattia Esposito. The domain is itria.io, the email info@itria.io, and the phone number +39 350 574 3578.
Our work covers the processes that come before the order: enquiries arriving through several channels, correspondence with customers and foreign buyers, the documents that go with a shipment, the deadlines nobody is watching. Our main sector is food and agricultural exporters, followed by hospitality and restaurants.
If you've received a message in Itria's name and want to check it really came from us, the address above will reply. We don't use any other domain, and we never write from an address that doesn't end in @itria.io.
